Welcome to 4th Littlehampton Scout Hall!

Discover the perfect venue for your next event or gathering at our spacious and versatile Scout Hall. Located in the heart of Littlehampton, our hall offers a welcoming and secure environment for a wide range of activities and occasions.

About Our Hall:

Our Scout Hall boasts approximately 100 square meters of space in the main hall (approximately 16m x 12m) providing ample room for various events and activities. With its high ceiling, the hall offers a bright and airy atmosphere, creating a comfortable environment for all attendees. The hall has a maximum capacity of 200 people. There are tables & chairs available for use.

Connected to the hall with a serving hatch is a fully functioning kitchen.

Facilities:

• Fully-Equipped Kitchen: Our kitchen comes complete with a cooker, fridge, and cooking equipment, allowing you to prepare food and serve it from the hatch to the hall.

• Toilets and Shower: For the convenience of our guests, we provide on-site toilets including an accessible toilet (and a shower exclusively for use by scouting leaders)

• Outdoor Area: Behind the hall, we have a spacious outdoor area where camping is permitted, with a BBQ area. Surrounded by fencing and secured with a gate, our outdoor space offers a safe and secure environment for overnight stays for scout groups, Duke of Edinburgh groups, and similar organisations.

• Car Parking: for around 20 vehicles.

Whether you’re planning a community event, a children’s birthday party, or a scouting adventure, our Scout Hall is the perfect venue. With its spacious hall, outdoor area and convenient amenities, our hall can accommodate a wide range of activities and occasions.

A great base for exploring Littlehampton:

Served by the 700 Coastliner bus route and rail services our hall is less than ten minutes walk from the station. You can easily walk into the town centre, or along the Arun river to the seafront where you can enjoy traditional fish and chips and ice cream. Visit the Oyster Pond for crabbing and pedal boats or try your luck at the arcades. If you’re after a bit more of a thrill then Harbour Park is a great day out!

Littlehampton is surrounded by a wealth of attractions and points of interest waiting to be explored. Just a short drive away, you’ll find:

• Arundel: Discover the historic town of Arundel, home to the magnificent Arundel Castle, picturesque gardens, charming cafes, and quaint shops. Explore centuries of history as you wander through the cobbled streets and soak in the town’s unique atmosphere.

• Worthing: Explore the vibrant seaside town of Worthing, known for its beautiful beaches, lively pier, and bustling promenade. Enjoy a leisurely stroll along the seafront, indulge in delicious seafood at one of the many restaurants, or catch a show at the iconic Worthing Pavilion Theatre.

• South Downs National Park: Immerse yourself in the breathtaking beauty of the South Downs National Park, where rolling hills, picturesque villages, and scenic trails await. Whether you’re a keen hiker, cyclist, or nature enthusiast, the South Downs offers endless opportunities for outdoor adventures and exploration.

How much does it cost?

Scouting Groups:

Full day  £75 (any 12 hour period)

Half day £40 (any 6 hour period)

For scouting groups wishing to use the hall/grounds overnight the rate is £3.50 per person per night (which covers a full a 24hr period)  with a minimum charge of £40 per night for groups of less than ten people. We can also provide camp badge blanket badges for £1 each.

Non-Scouting groups:

Full day  £90 (any 12 hour period)

Half day £50 (any 6 hour period)

For non scouting groups wishing to use the hall/grounds overnight please contact us to discuss your requirements and rates.

Party/event bookings:

Bouncy Castles/ Inflatables: There is an extra charge of £40 per inflatable to cover the associated increase in electricity cost.

Please note that we do not hire the hall for teen/ adult birthday parties.

HM King Charles III has been confirmed as our new Patron, a great honour for UK Scouts.

The King continues a long tradition of the monarch giving their Patronage, dating back to 1912. This was when Scouts was granted its Royal Charter and HM George V became our first Patron.
